Hoarding Essentials

This course offers a high level introduction to hoarding that covers what the condition is, its prevalence, and the standard treatment approaches. The learning touches on historical references to hoarding as well as some of the clinical research that has been conducted.
At the end of this course it is expected that you will be able to:
  • Explain the diagnostic definition of hoarding disorder
  • Define key reasons why people hoard
  • Compare the differences between situational and chronic disorganisation
You do not have to complete the course in one sitting. You can pause at any point and resume later. The course is made up of 2 modules; each one ending with a ‘Test Your Knowledge’ quiz.
